Job summary

New York City Criminal Justice Agency (CJA) seeks a Director of Clinical Services for the Queens Supervised Release Program to provide clinical leadership, policy direction, and supervision across two sites. The role involves guiding staff, ensuring high standards of practice, and coordinating with senior leaders to align clinical services with the agency’s mission.

The position requires LCSW/LMHC licensure, 7+ years in clinical service delivery management, and experience supervising teams.

Qualifications

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).
• Minimum of 7 years of experience managing clinical services, supervising professionals, and overseeing program outcomes.
• 1 year experience at Associate Director or CJA-equivalent level.

Responsibilities

• Guide and shape the evolution of the clinical services unit and oversee delivery of all services.
• Oversee program improvements, pilots, and alignment with organizational goals.
• Directly supervise 4–5 direct reports and manage two sites.
• Engage external stakeholders to identify collaboration opportunities and expand services.
• Uphold DEIB values across all clinical programming.
