Job summary

Otsuka America Pharmaceutical Inc. seeks a Clinical Pharmacology lead to steer pharmacology strategies across early and late-stage programs. You will partner with pharmacometrics, translational, and regulatory teams to optimize dose selection and support regulatory filings.

The role requires an extensive background in PK/PD, model-based approaches, and leadership of a growing Quantitative Pharmacology team within QTR.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience shaping clinical pharmacology strategies for early to late programs.
• Deep knowledge of PK/PD, study design, and regulatory expectations.
• Hands-on PK/PD data analysis and modeling experience.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as clinical pharmacology lead on cross-functional project teams.
• Review and approve clinical pharmacology sections for regulatory filings.
• Support model-based drug development and PK/PD analyses.
• Mentor junior scientists and develop talent within the team.
• Collaborate with biomarker, translational, and regulatory teams.
