Job summary

Otsuka America Pharmaceutical Inc. seeks an experienced Clinical Pharmacology leader within the Quantitative Translational Research (QTR) group.

You will oversee pharmacology strategies and regulatory submissions for multiple programs, guiding dose selection and PK/PD analyses across development stages. Qualifications

• Extensive experience developing and executing clinical pharmacology strategies for early- through late‑stage programs.
• In-depth knowledge of PK/PD concepts, study design, and regulatory expectations.
• Hands-on PK/PD data analysis and modeling proficiency (e.g., Phoenix NLME).
• Strong understanding of cross-functional drug development workflows and regulatory submissions.
• Experience mentoring and developing junior scientists in a pharmacology team.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical pharmacology strategies and integrate them into global development plans.
• Oversee regulatory filings’ pharmacology sections and related reports.
• Collaborate with pharmacometrics, biomarker, and clinical development teams.
• Guide early-phase and late-stage program strategies, dose finding and exposure‑response analyses.
• Mentor junior scientists and build a high-performing Quantitative Pharmacology team.
