Position Summary

The Senior Director, Clinical Development, Solid Tumors, will oversee clinical programs supporting BeOne’s assets, ensuring successful execution and collaboration internally and externally. Reporting to the Vice President, Clinical Development, this role involves strategic planning, leadership in clinical research, and ensuring operational excellence across global teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Document Management: Generate, review, and update essential clinical documents such as protocols, informed consent forms, Investigator Brochures, study reports, abstracts, posters, manuscripts, and regulatory submissions including INDs, NDAs, and safety reports.
2. Clinical Trial Oversight: Partner with clinical operations and other functions to implement studies effectively; provide scientific expertise in investigator and vendor selection; train staff; support trial conduct; review data; interpret and present findings; and build relationships with key opinion leaders.
3. Strategic and Operational Leadership: Contribute to program strategies, identify process improvements, and manage resources, budgets, and goals to ensure compliance and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in biotech/pharmaceutical or academic settings, with clinical development experience.
• MD or equivalent, with subspecialty in oncology preferred.
• Experience leading clinical trials from start-up to completion, including at least one study as a lead scientist.
• Deep understanding of global clinical trial design, drug development, GCP, and ICH guidelines.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Willingness to travel (~25%).
• Leadership experience in team building and SOP development is preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $287,500 - $357,500 annually. Compensation is determined by skills, experience, education, and location. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), FSA/HSA, insurance, PTO, wellness programs, and stock options. BeOne is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity.
