Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or substantial coursework in early childhood education with nine credits in business administration or a state credential in education administration is required.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in early childhood education or childcare program management, including at least five years in a leadership role.
• In-depth knowledge of early childhood programs and ability to qualify as a Dartmouth Approved Driver.

Responsibilities

• Oversees center-wide staffing patterns and ensure proper child/teacher ratios.
• Ensures center operations comply with NH Child Care Licensing rules and maintains center facilities.
• Develops and communicates policies and procedures to Center staff; oversees data management and records.
• Leads recruitment, development, and retention of childcare staff and oversees budget, staffing, and resources.
• Establishes policies that promote a safe, inclusive, and enriching environment for children.
