Job description

Senior Director, Business Transformation

Join to apply for the Senior Director, Business Transformation role at Centene Corporation.

Position Purpose: In conjunction with leadership, leads strategic business transformation programs with enterprise impact. Acts as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to Centene leadership. Assists with the business transformation team's strategy, execution/delivery methodology, and realizing business benefits across the enterprise portfolio. Additionally, manages a team responsible for the day-to-day operations of Availity solutions. Sources talent, coaches, trains, mentors, and provides feedback; conducts annual reviews and all matters required by HR.

Operates as the primary business contact for the enterprise's Availity relationship by:

  • Directing the implementation of the strategic roadmap for Availity products.
  • Partnering with clinical, operational, product, and vendor teams to identify and prioritize new functionalities.
  • Coordinating discovery, planning, and requirements with technical teams.
  • Facilitating change management by working with Product and Provider Experience teams.
  • Partnering with clinical, operational, and technical teams to resolve functionality issues.
  • Collaborating with leadership on near and long-term objectives.
  • Developing business cases and tracking value capture with operational and clinical leaders.
  • Leading special projects related to Availity, including enhancements and provider satisfaction initiatives.
  • Maintaining relationships with health plans for regulatory and compliance guidance.
  • Performing other duties and special projects as assigned.

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a related field. 9+ years of experience in process improvement/transformation, business/financial analysis, external consulting/auditing/risk analysis, customer journey/experience, organizational change management, IT solution/architecture, or project management. Consulting experience preferred.

License/Certification: Organizational Change Management certifications (PROSCI, Six Sigma CAP, Kotter, Bridge’s Rogers Kubler), CEX, CMMI, Six Sigma, PMP preferred.

Pay Range: $145,100 - $268,800 per year.

Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, 401K, stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, holidays, and flexible work options. Actual pay will be adjusted based on skills, experience, education, and other factors. Total compensation may include incentives. Benefits are subject to eligibility.
