Job Description: Strategic Leadership
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the BI roadmap aligned with business strategy and goals.
- Partner with executive leadership to identify data opportunities that drive growth and efficiency.
- Champion data governance, quality, and compliance across the organization.
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable BI solutions using Oracle and other platforms
- Oversee data warehousing, ETL processes, and dashboard development.
- Evaluate and integrate BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) to enhance reporting capabilities.
- Partner with other IT functions to adhere to architecture, security, SDLC processes and other applicable processes and frameworks.
- Collaborate with Finance to develop automated, accurate, and timely reporting systems.
- Deliver insights on revenue trends, cost optimization, and forecasting.
- Deliver insights on talent cost, resourcing, predictive analytics for talent management
- Translate complex data into executive-level presentations and recommendations.
- Build and mentor a high-performing team of BI analysts, data engineers, and reporting specialists.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration with IT, Finance, Operations, and Marketing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or related field.
- 10+ years in BI or data analytics, with 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven experience with Oracle BI tools, data warehousing, and financial reporting systems.
- Strong command of SQL, data modelling, and visualization platforms.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in regulated industries (e.g., finance, healthcare, clinical research) is a plus
- Proven ability to work in fast paced, changing environment with multiple stakeholders and prioritization needs
- Demonstrated experience in evaluating needs, tools and solutions to recommend the most practical options for delivery
