Position: Senior Director ISR Programs Business Development

Location: Remote

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Director ISR Programs Business Development to join our team. This role is responsible for leading and executing strategies to expand the company's global presence by identifying and securing new business opportunities with customers for airborne Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance, forging strategic partnerships with the US Government, and defense contractors, and navigating complex geopolitical landscapes to drive significant revenue growth within the defense sector; requiring deep expertise in U.S. DoD operations and acquisition, strong relationship building skills.

Current experience with the acquisition and operation of manned and/or unmanned ISR platforms is required.

Required Duties And Responsibilities

  • Market Analysis and Strategy Development:
  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify potential new missions and requirements within the U.S. Government for airborne ISR products and services.
  • Develop strategies to harvest those customers with DZYNE ISR solutions, understanding the competitive landscape and the risks and opportunities of DZYNE’s ISR solutions.

Relationship Building And Partnering

  • Establish and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers within U.S. Government, military officials, and defense industry partners.
  • Negotiate and secure strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and distribution agreements with potential partner companies.
  • Participate in defense conferences and exhibitions to build brand awareness and network with potential customers and partners.

Business Development Activities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by understanding U.S. defense requirements and tailoring solutions accordingly.
  • Lead the development and submission of complex government proposals, including pricing strategies and compliance documentation.
  • Conduct in-depth presentations and demonstrations of defense capabilities to potential customers.

Required Skills And Abilities

  • Deep understanding of the current U.S. defense industry, including current key players, market trends, and geopolitical considerations.
  • Proven track record of success in U.S. Government business development within the defense sector for intelligence, surveillance and surveillance airborne programs
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship building skills with senior government officials and business leaders.
  • Domestic and international business development experience with DoD
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a lean team orientation.

Education And Related Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in international relations, business administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years sales experience in U.S. defense market
  • High proficiency with business software including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, Teams, Salesforce CRM
  • Must be capable of working non-standard work hours as required including evenings, and weekend.

Tavel Requirements

  • Must have current United States passport
  • Must be capable of travel up to 60% of the time.

Physical Demands

  • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
  • Able to travel 60% of the time on both domestic and international flights

Other Requirements

It is an essential requirement for the person in this role to have a legal right to work in the United States and be eligible to obtain any required DoD Clearance.

Salary: $200,000- $250,000 annual with bonus potential

Salary depends on relevant work experience, education, training, essential skills, and/or other factors such as specialized or high-demand professions. In addition to the annual salary, the

position will be eligible for an annual bonus. The pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of salary or annual bonus.
