AstraZeneca is seeking a Senior Director of Boston Corporate Affairs and Communications to define and drive a comprehensive program that strengthens AZ’s reputation in Boston and beyond. You will cooperate with GCA and R&D teams to showcase leading science and maximize local impact while aligning with global strategy.

• Minimum Bachelor Degree in communication, public health, life science.
• More than 10 years of experience in communication in pharma industry.
• Established track record of delivering integrated corporate affairs strategies across multiple channels.
• Experience creating and developing networks with an entrepreneurial approach.
• Understanding US life-sciences ecosystem and Boston ecosystem.

Responsabilidades

• Act as a key representative of AstraZeneca within Boston and align with the wider ecosystem.
• Leads the development and delivery of an integrated corporate affairs strategy and plan for Boston and US/global.
• Reinforces and leads external/strategic stakeholder engagement in Boston and serves as an ambassador.
• Ensures Boston milestones, events and external news flow are maximised to achieve objectives.
• Identifies and mobilises input from media relations, government, community relations, and R&D to deliver programmes and events.
• Provides coaching and counsel on corporate affairs topics to internal stakeholders including senior leaders.
• Establishes measures of success and monitors external environment for opportunities and risks.
