Rhythm is seeking a Senior Director, Biostatistics to join our Biostatistics team in a highly visible strategic leadership role supporting important clinical development programs. This individual will serve as the lead statistician for assigned programs, with the opportunity to shape statistical strategy for programs that have the potential to make a meaningful difference for patients with rare neuroendocrine diseases. The role may also contribute to other clinical programs as business needs arise, providing flexibility and broad exposure across Rhythm's development portfolio.
Reporting to the Vice President, Head of Biostatistics & Statistical Programming, this individual will partner across clinical, regulatory, safety, data management, programming, and medical writing/publications teams to provide strategic guidance, scientific judgment, and hands-on biostatistical expertise. The ideal candidate is an independent, collaborative, and solutions-oriented leader who thrives in a dynamic, nimble biotech environment where business priorities may evolve quickly and sound judgment, flexibility, and clear communication are essential.
This role is based out of our corporate office in Boston, Massachusetts. Rhythm operates in a hybrid-work model. Candidates applying must be willing and able to be in the Boston office in coordination with their department and business needs. This role may involve some travel.
The expected salary range for this position is $210,000 - $300,000. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, level, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and company performance. This role may be eligible for benefits and other compensation such as restricted stock units.
