Job summary

Prime Medicine, Inc. is seeking a Senior Director, Biometrics to lead the biometrics function across clinical programs, providing strategic and hands‑on leadership in biostatistics, data management, and regulatory submissions.

The role requires deep expertise in trial design, analysis plans, and quantitative decision making, with cross‑functional partnership across development teams, and accountability for data integrity and vendor governance.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• 10+ years of biometrics experience in biotech or pharmaceutical development.
• Experience leading statistical leadership for clinical studies and regulatory submissions.
• Strong understanding of clinical trial design, statistical principles, and data management practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall biometrics leadership across Prime Medicine’s clinical programs, spanning biostatistics, data management, and statistical programming.
• Define and implement biometrics strategies for early- and mid-stage development, including study design, endpoints, data standards.
• Lead provider management, vendor governance, and oversight of timelines, quality, and budgets.
• Serve as lead statistician for protocol concept through regulatory submission and supporting analyses.
• Oversee data management strategy, CRF design, database build, data cleaning, and SDTM/ADaM compliance.
• Mentor and guide internal team members and matrixed contributors.
