Job summary

Napa County’s Health and Human Services Agency is seeking an Assistant Deputy Director of Behavioral Health to lead program administration within the Behavioral Health Division. The role focuses on DMC-ODS, children’s services, access, and medication clinics, aligning with HHSA goals and county policy.

The position requires strategic planning, complex coordination, and budget management, reporting to the Deputy Director of HHSA. Bilingual (Spanish) preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Six years of professional program experience in mental health or human services.
• Four years in administrative and supervisory roles.
• Masters degree in a relevant field required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Behavioral Health programs, including DMC-ODS, Children's Behavioral Health, Access, and Medication Clinic.
• Develop objectives and design supporting programs, processes, policies, and procedures.
• Administer and control budgets; coordinate services within HHSA and with external partners.
