Job summary

Napa County's Health and Human Services Agency is seeking an Assistant Deputy Director Behavioral Health to lead the Behavioral Health Division, overseeing the Drug Medi-Cal Organized Delivery System (DMC-ODS) and the Specialty Mental Health Plan within a managed care framework.

This executive role focuses on administration, budgeting, and program design, coordinating with internal and external partners to advance integrated behavioral health services.

Qualifications

• Six (6) years of increasingly responsible professional program experience in mental health, social services, or human services, including four years of administrative and supervisory responsibility.
• Master’s degree as described in education requirements is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee management, administration, supervision, and coordination of Behavioral Health programs within HHSA.
• Focus on DMC-ODS services, Children's Behavioral Health, Access, and Medication Clinic; develop objectives and supporting programs and policies.
• Manage budgets for assigned programs and ensure coordination with HHSA and the broader county.”
