Senior Director/AVP, Acute Revenue Cycle

This position is based remotely in the USA and reports to the Senior Vice President, Enabling Services.

About The Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Sr. Director, Acute Revenue Cycle Leader to join our product team as an individual contributor. This role requires deep expertise in back-end revenue cycle management (RCM), a data-driven mindset, and the ability to apply economic value-add (EVA) principles to drive measurable financial outcomes.

The ideal candidate will excel in first-principles thinking, breaking down complex revenue cycle challenges into structured, framework-driven solutions. They should be comfortable with hands-on execution, solution design, industry thought leadership, and skilled in data visualization and storytelling for diverse audiences.

This position requires 50% travel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the expert for back-end RCM, focusing on denials, underpayments, AR management, and claims workflows.
  • Lead and execute high-impact RCM initiatives aligned with payer trends, regulatory shifts, and reimbursement models.
  • Apply EVA methodologies to assess financial impact and optimize ROI.
  • Leverage data analytics to identify trends and opportunities for automation and efficiency.
  • Develop presentations, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to design scalable RCM solutions rooted in EVA principles.
  • Utilize first-principles thinking to solve complex RCM problems and develop balanced solution frameworks.
Thought Leadership & Industry Influence
  • Act as a trusted advisor internally and externally, shaping industry discussions on RCM innovations.
  • Participate in conferences, contribute to whitepapers, webinars, and public speaking engagements.
  • Stay informed on regulatory changes, payer trends, and emerging technologies to keep solutions cutting-edge.
Key Skills & Qualifications
  • Deep expertise in acute care revenue cycle management, especially back-end operations.
  • Strong data analytics and visualization skills using tools like Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI.
  • Proven ability to apply EVA frameworks to assess financial impact and improve processes.
  • Experience in solution design, process improvement, and workflow automation.
  • Excellent presentation and storytelling skills, with experience in executive reporting.
  • Strategic thinker with first-principles problem-solving skills.
  • Hands-on execution mindset and ability to drive cross-functional collaboration.
  • Industry thought leadership experience, including participation in panels and content creation.

Compensation & Benefits
