McCormick & Company in Hunt Valley, Maryland is seeking an Americas R2R Director in a Hybrid (50/50) capacity to lead the Record-to-Report function for the Americas and Global Rebates, reporting to the VP, GBS Finance Operations.

You will manage the close, reconciliations, SOX controls, and audit readiness across GBS Americas, overseeing about 75% of the close and a $20 billion balance sheet, while partnering with Controllership, IT, and cross‑functional teams to drive standardization and

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field required.
• CPA required; public accounting and multinational SEC exposure preferred.
• Minimum 10 years in US GAAP, controls, and reporting.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience leading finance teams.
• Experience with SAP and HFM highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the R2R close and reconciliations for Americas entities.
• Oversee close across O2C, P2P, Hire to Retire, and other GBS processes.
• Manage ~75% of Americas close representing ~$20B balance sheet.
• Ensure SOX compliance, controls standardization, and audit readiness.
• Coordinate internal and external audit activities across Americas.
• Drive service delivery, process improvement, and cost optimization.
• Partner with Controllership and regional leadership on financial priorities.
• Lead GBS initiatives with IT, M&A, and other functions.
• Develop, coach, and retain a high-performing finance team.
• Collaborate with global finance leaders for consistent practices.
