Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Director of Product Management AI within the Cloud Technology Group to lead the AI infrastructure product strategy and GPU inference initiatives, guiding them from strategy to scale.

You will build and lead a high-performing product team, own outcomes across GPU and cloud inferencing, and collaborate on pricing, packaging, and segment strategy while representing Akamai with customers, partners, and analysts.

Qualifications

• 12 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Expertise in AI infrastructure, including GPU systems, model deployment, serverless inference.
• Direct product experience building and launching commercial AI infrastructure or inference platforms.
• Foundational platforms enabling developers to deploy and manage AI workloads.
• Successful track record of building and scaling product management organizations.
• Executive presence and excellent communication with customers, partners, and analysts.

Responsibilities

• Drive long-term product vision and strategy for AI infrastructure, identifying differentiation opportunities, shaping positioning, and defining investment priorities.
• Own business outcomes across GPU and cloud inferencing portfolio, including revenue growth, adoption, and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with go-to-market leadership on pricing, packaging, and segment strategy, and represent Akamai externally with customers, partners, and analysts.
• Lead cross-functional execution across product, engineering, and SRE to advance the AI platform, delivering GPU infrastructure and serverless inference innovations from concept through scale.
• Build and lead a high-performing team of product leaders, driving accountability and execution discipline.
