Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Director of Product Management AI within the Cloud Technology Group to lead the AI infrastructure and inference initiatives, from GPU clusters to scalable model deployment.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.
• Expertise in AI infrastructure, including GPU systems, model deployment, serverless inference, and scalable AI workloads.
• Experience building and launching commercial AI infrastructure or inference platforms from definition to launch and monetization.
• Build foundational platforms enabling developers to deploy/manage AI workloads instead of relying on third-party solutions.
• Successful track record in building/scaling product management orgs and establishing operating rhythms.
• Executive presence and excellent communication skills representing the company externally.

Responsibilities

• Drive long-term product vision and strategy for AI infrastructure, identifying differentiation opportunities and investment priorities.
• Own business outcomes across GPU and cloud inferencing portfolio, including revenue growth, adoption, and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with GTM leadership on pricing, packaging, and segment strategy; represent Akamai externally with customers, partners, and analysts.
• Lead cross-functional execution across product, engineering, and SRE to advance the AI platform from concept to scale.
• Build and lead a high-performing team of product leaders, driving accountability and customer-obsessed culture.
