Job summary

ND Defense LLC is seeking a Corporate Senior Director of Engineering in Madison Heights, MI. You will own engineering delivery, build and lead a multi-disciplinary team, and serve as the senior technical voice with customers and bids.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or systems engineering.
10–15 years engineering experience with at least 5 years leading multi-disciplinary teams.
Familiarity with heavy vehicle systems integration and/or depth in software/embedded or electrification.

Responsibilities

Lead the engineering function across new program starts, delivering on schedule and within budget.
Participate in architecture and design decisions across mechanical, electrical, systems, software, and test.
Act as a working engineer when workload requires.
Assess engineering workload and translate scope into staffing plans and schedules.
Ensure compliance with ITAR, export control, FAR/DFARS, MIL-SPEC/MIL-STD, CMMC, and CDRL.
