Job summary

Capital One Shopping is seeking a Sr. Director of Product with a strong focus on AI, data storytelling, and KPIs. The role leads software and data engineering teams to build data platform capabilities, partner across analytics, design, and engineering, and drive customer-centered product outcomes.

The position is remote-eligible in the United States, with compensation reflecting location and performance incentives. You will influence strategic direction and deliver measurable business value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 7 years of Product Management experience.
• Experience translating strategy into consumer digital products.
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills to identify insights.
• Ability to own KPI setting and monitoring.
• Experience with large data files using SQL, Python, or R.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple teams of software and data engineers to design and deliver data platform features for internal users.
• Understand the enterprise data requirements and ensure the system’s compliance with enterprise patterns.
• Relentlessly push to understand user and stakeholder needs and ensure they are considered in prioritization and trade-off discussions.
• Create a vision and roadmap for your product that addresses stakeholder needs.
• Partner with analysts, data scientists, designers, engineers, and others to refine the roadmap and harvest insights from experiments and product launches.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with leaders and stakeholders that depend on the capabilities and performance of our platforms.
• Define, socialize, and monitor key performance indicators to understand the evolution and success of the project.
