Job summary

R&M Welty INC. in Osseo, MN seeks a DSP 3 to support adults with mental illnesses, administer medications, and help with daily living tasks. You’ll work on multiple shifts, ensuring safety and quality of life for residents in a compassionate home setting.

Starting pay is $20.00/hour with a benefits package and opportunities to grow into team leadership roles within a supportive organization.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to pass a DHS background and Motor Vehicle Records check.
• 2+ years of experience in a group home, DSP, or client care role.
• 2+ years of experience in de-escalation skills.
• 1+ years in a lead or supervisory role in a similar setting.
• Must be physically able to perform all job duties including lifting and transfers.
• Must communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with vulnerable adults living with mental illnesses.
• Ensure health, safety, and well-being of persons served at all times.
• Reflect values of respect, honesty, patience, and compassion in communication.
• Assist with active treatment services, daily living skills, medications, and development.
• Assist with transportation, documentation of services, and care plans.
• Support the Designated Coordinator with scheduling, payroll, and delegating tasks.
