Job summary

Fellowship Square Christian Care is seeking compassionate waitstaff to support our dining services for senior residents. You will greet residents, serve meals, and help create a welcoming dining experience in a caring, team-based environment.

Ideal candidates have a hospitality mindset, strong communication skills, and a commitment to safety. Responsibilities include assisting in meal delivery, maintaining clean dining areas, and coordinating with kitchen staff to meet dietary needs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Must possess a Food Handler’s Card or obtain within 30 days from hire.
• Previous experience in waitstaff, food service, or hospitality is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist residents in a courteous and professional manner during meal times.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary guidelines and special requests.
• Set tables, clear dishes, and ensure the dining room is clean and organized.
• Assist in the preparation and delivery of meals to residents' rooms when needed.
• Communicate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate meal orders and requests are met.
• Ensure that dining areas are safe, clean, and well-maintained at all times.
• Respond to resident requests and special needs with a helpful and friendly attitude.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards to ensure safe meal service.
• Assist with other tasks as needed to support the dining services department.
