Mather Place in Wilmette, IL seeks a Sous Chef to lead culinary operations, rotate menus, and train the Cook and Utility Steward teams. You will report to the Executive Chef and drive high-quality, consistent dining experiences for residents and guests.

Five or more years in a supervisory culinary role are required, with strong communication, budgeting, and adherence to dietary guidelines. This full-time role requires flexibility for weeknights, weekends, and holidays but no late nights.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience supervising kitchen staff.
• Strong communication and delegation skills.
• Ability to read and interpret work-related documents, including recipes.
• Current sanitation certification and compliance with health guidelines.

Responsibilities
