Job summary

Pinnacle Technical Resources seeks a Dimensional Engineer for its hardware team, working remotely within the US for a 12-month contract. You will support development and production of mechanical designs, structures, mechanisms, and sensor integration solutions for AR/VR applications, using analytical modeling and rapid prototyping.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across mechanical, electrical, optical, materials, firmware, software, and computer vision domains, driving concepts

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with 3D variation simulation analyses using VisVSA, 3DCS or CETOL.
• 5+ years of industry or academic experience.
• Knowledge of machining, 3D printing, and injection molding.
• Experience with GD&T ASME Y14.5 and tolerance analysis.
• Experience in full product lifecycle from concept to production.

Responsibilities

• Lead or contribute to geometry control and 3D dimensional analysis.
• Lead tolerance analysis and GD&T development with design teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to generate concepts and designs.
• Apply variation simulation modeling to solve design problems.
• Support gage R&R studies with suppliers and metrology teams.
