Job summary

Oceaneering seeks a Dimensional Control Technician (DCT) to survey and process 3D data using laser tracking, photogrammetry, and CMM tools. You will generate reports, create models from drawings, and translate data into working drawings and installation fixtures for onboard ships or shop assemblies.

The role requires blueprints interpretation, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with limited supervision, including offsite work as needed.

Qualifications

• Surveying with laser trackers and 3D data processing for usable information.
• Ability to translate data into working drawings and installation fixtures.
• Read and understand blueprints, drawings, and schematics for installation/repair.

Responsibilities

• Produce working drawings from processed data for installation fixtures onboard ships or shop assemblies.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to develop production processes for complex steel structures.
• Work independently offsite to deliver quality products with remote supervision.
