Job summary

Detecon is seeking a results-driven IT consultant to guide clients through digital transformations. You will work with experienced colleagues to advise national and international CIO/CTO engagements, analyzing application landscapes, defining target architectures, and supporting modernization efforts.

The role requires a degree in IT/engineering with business context, strong analytical skills, and fluency in German and English. Travel for projects (domestic or international) is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in (business) information technology/engineering or another STEM subject with a business context.
• Experience in management and strategy consulting, particularly in the modernization of application landscapes.
• Strong analytical skills and a structured approach.
• Business fluent German and English skills and willingness to travel for projects (domestic or international, depending on preference).

Responsibilities

• Advise national and international clients in CIO/CTO areas.
• Analyze existing application landscapes, define target architectures, and support strategic planning and modernization implementations.
• Develop accompanying strategies, modern development and operating processes, and governance structures.
• Manage complex IT transformation projects in close coordination with clients and technology partners.
