Job summary

Qualifications

• Desire to understand and optimize DoD Acquisition and Sustainment mission and objectives.
• IT solution road mapping and architecting experience.
• Understanding of weapon systems engineering and product lifecycle management tools.
• Experience delivering IT Solutions in DoD or commercial systems engineering environments.
• Familiarity with CAD/ CAM/ CAE/ PLM/ MBSE/ Digital Twin to improve performance.
• Ability to employ digital engineering solutions in cloud, on-premises, and classified environments.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into customer-friendly language.
• Willingness to contribute and share load within the solution delivery team.
• Project management experience with entrepreneurial mindset.
• US Citizen able to obtain DoD clearance; currently cleared preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect and refine requirements through customer mentorship on cost, schedule, and capability tradeoffs.
• Translate mission requirements into scalable, interoperable system designs.
• Create architectures, frameworks, and roadmaps to mitigate risk.
• Lead technical decision-making and enforce architecture standards for Agile teams.
• Evaluate emerging technologies for cloud and classified environments.
• Communicate architecture decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Engage customer governance to fund and staff digital transformations.
• Expand solutions and onboarding of DoD customers into advanced digital engineering.
• Build partnerships with complimentary firms and providers.
