The role oversees WordPress CMS execution, works with editorial leaders, and uses analytics to guide decisions for multi-platform publishing. Reporting to the Director of Digital & Creative Services.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to use analytics to grow audience and optimize content performance.
• Excellent writing and editing skills with strong storytelling.
• Experience managing website content through a CMS.
• Knowledge of digital publishing best practices across platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute the overall digital strategy for WBAL.com and 98online.com.
• Manage and optimize WordPress CMS platforms for accuracy and engagement.
• Analyze audience behavior and content performance to guide recommendations.
• Develop initiatives to grow audiences across web, mobile, newsletters, podcasts, and social media.
• Lead SEO and content optimization efforts to improve discoverability.
