Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Principal Digital Architect to define functional design, develop systems architecture, and align with CAT Digital Strategy. You will lead teams that build a world-class platform for digital applications and IoT solutions across device, edge, and cloud layers.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in CS/IT or related field with 10+ years of experience.
• Experience delivering product and/or enterprise architecture for enterprise-scale solutions in cloud & hybrid ecosystems (AWS & Azure).
• Familiarity with AWS services and operationalizing ML/AI capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight for architecture assessment and design for infrastructure, information or integration domains.
• Lead architecture design of end-to-end enterprise integrated systems for multiple business functions.
• Lead the design and implementation of enterprise data model and metadata structures.
• Drive architecture patterns for programs including manufacturing, fleet management and condition monitoring.
• Stay current with cloud, AI, and related tech; evaluate and recommend new technologies.
• Develop and maintain current and future state architecture blueprints and roadmaps.
