Senior Digital Marketing Executive
We are looking for an experienced and ambitious Senior Digital Marketing Executive who is naturally proactive and enjoys getting stuck in. This is a hands‑on role that offers real ownership of key digital marketing channels and the chance to make a measurable impact. You will lead email and SMS marketing and affiliate agency management, while providing important support across SEO, paid media and performance reporting.
Job Summary
You’ll be commercially focused, run campaigns end‑to‑end and contribute to the wider digital marketing mix. The role offers strong exposure to senior leadership, with regular input into reporting and strategic decisions. It’s an ideal fit for an experienced digital marketer ready to step up and take ownership in a fast‑paced challenger brand.
Work Style
Our marketing team works in a hybrid model. You will spend time at our office several times a month and be required to travel if you are selected for the role.
Key Responsibilities
Email & SMS Marketing (Lead)
- Own and lead all acquisition email and SMS campaign activity end‑to‑end, from planning and build to deployment and analysis.
- Design and optimise automated customer journeys, including lead nurture, abandoned cart sequences and acquisition initiatives.
- Develop and refine segmentation and targeting strategies to improve acquisition conversion rates.
- Monitor deliverability, open rates, click‑through and revenue impact; continuously test and optimise.
- Maintain the email and SMS calendar and ensure campaigns align with wider marketing activity.
Affiliate Marketing (Lead)
- Manage the day‑to‑day relationship with the affiliate agency, acting as the primary point of contact.
- Set campaign objectives, review performance against targets and hold the agency accountable for CPA efficiency.
- Identify opportunities to grow affiliate volume, diversify partner mix and improve commission structures.
- Review and approve affiliate creative, messaging and promotional activity to ensure brand alignment.
- Report on affiliate performance and contribute recommendations to the wider acquisition strategy.
SEO (Support)
- Support the Senior Digital Marketing Manager with SEO activity, including content briefs, on‑page optimisation and keyword tracking.
- Assist with website content updates to ensure pages are optimised for search and aligned with campaign activity.
- Help monitor organic performance and flag opportunities or issues.
Website & CRO (Support)
- Manage and publish content updates across the website CMS, ensuring acquisition landing pages are accurate, on‑brand and optimised for conversion.
- Support the planning and execution of A/B and multivariate tests to improve landing page performance and acquisition conversion rates.
- Work with the wider team to brief and implement CRO initiatives, ensuring learnings are documented and fed back into future campaigns.
Paid Media (Support)
- Provide support across paid media channels, including support with agency management.
- Help coordinate creative assets and copy for paid campaigns in line with campaign briefs.
- Assist in analysing paid performance data and feeding insights back to the team.
Performance Reporting & Insight (Support)
- Support the Senior Digital Marketing Manager in building and maintaining regular performance reports across digital channels.
- Translate campaign and channel data into clear, actionable insights.
- Contribute to reporting shared with senior leadership, ensuring data is accurate and well‑presented.
- Help identify trends, anomalies and opportunities to improve acquisition efficiency and overall digital performance.
Qualifications
- Solid experience in digital marketing with strong knowledge of email and SMS platforms.
- Proven ability to plan, execute and optimise email and SMS campaigns with a data‑driven approach.
- Experience managing or working closely with affiliate programmes or performance marketing partners.
- Familiarity with paid media platforms such as Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager.
- Comfortable with SEO principles and supporting on‑page optimisation activity.
- Confident working with performance data and translating it into clear insights and recommendations.
- Strong attention to detail with good copywriting and briefing skills.
- Takes initiative and gets things done without needing to be directed.
- Commercially minded and focused on driving measurable results.
- Comfortable working at pace in a fast‑growing challenger business.
- Strong communicator who can work confidently with agencies and internal stakeholders.
