As a Senior Digital Integration Solutions Engineer, you’ll work directly with customers on-site, playing a hands‑on role in delivering advanced power automation solutions. This position offers the opportunity to travel up to 75% throughout the region, giving you exposure to a wide range of industries, technologies, and real‑world applications.
Expected annual salary range: $104,000 – $145,000.

What you’ll do
- Provide on‑site implementation of Electrical Power Management and mission critical monitoring and control systems including Power Xpert, Foreseer, PowerNet, and next generation Power Monitoring platforms.
- Provide applied engineering and consultation to customers in the areas of system integration, installation, start‑up, maintenance, repair, training and modification of power management, control, and mission critical systems.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with at least 3 years of experience working with or managing installations of Power Management, Power Control, SCADA, Mission Critical, or Building Management systems, or in lieu of a degree at least 5 years of experience in those areas.
- This role requires a current, unrestricted driver’s license and a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record. Candidates will be subject to a motor vehicle record check upon hire.
- All applicants must reside within a 50‑mile radius of the work locations listed. No relocation will be offered for this role. Active‑Duty Military Service members are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a technical discipline (Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science) from an accredited institution.
- Experience in programming and troubleshooting devices that utilize serial communication protocols (Modbus TCP, Modbus RTU, BACnet IP, BACnet MS/TP, LON, etc.).
- Professional Engineering license.
Position Criteria
- Successfully complete and maintain compliance with Eaton’s safety program and policy.
- Submit to periodic customer‑required background and drug screenings.
- Possess and maintain a valid and unrestricted driver’s license.
- Must have the ability to work variable hours, including nights and weekends, and travel within the district, state, region, or country based on customer requirements.
- Program PLC control systems (Power Control, Generator Control, and SCADA).
- Commissioning experience.
- Experience with HMI (Human Machine Interface) software and power monitoring software packages.
- Working knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus (TCP and RTU), SNMP, OPC, DDE, BACnet (IP and MS/TP).
- Strong computer skills with Windows Operating Systems and databases.
- Intermediate networking skills and ability to troubleshoot network hardware and interfaces, including Ethernet and fiber.
- Knowledge of power quality meters, trip units, protective relays, and UPS.
- Working knowledge of test equipment and diagnostic instruments for automation and power management systems.
- Knowledge of troubleshooting, test and repair techniques.
- Advanced understanding of the company’s and competitor’s automation and power management systems and services.
- Knowledge and practice of safety precautions related to working with automation and power management systems.
- Ability to interface with internal and external customers, salespeople, and other team members on a technical level.
- Demonstrated ability to provide service and represent company interests in developing customer relationships to assure long‑term customer satisfaction.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication/presentation skills.
