Job summary

Teledyne FLIR Defense in Orlando, FL seeks a Sr. Electrical Engineer, Digital Hardware to design, develop, and verify advanced digital hardware and embedded electronics for imaging and surveillance products.

You'll work across Product Management, Software, Mechanical, and Manufacturing teams to translate requirements into hardware architectures, boards, and prototypes, from concept to production.

Qualifications

• 5-10+ years in digital hardware design or related hardware development.
• Experience with embedded processors, memory architectures, and high-speed interfaces.
• Knowledge of signal integrity, power integrity, EMI/EMC, and design-for-manufacturing.
• Ability to write detailed technical specifications and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop PCB assemblies with embedded processors and high-speed interfaces.
• Perform schematic capture, PCB layout reviews, and design for manufacturability.
• Prototype bring-up, integration, debugging, validation, and testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support production transition.
