Job description

With the growth we have seen in this area, our well-established team is looking for a Senior Cyber Incident Response Consultant to join them. In this role, you will collaborate with various individuals and divisions within our business, including the Cyber Incident Response Team, Threat Intelligence teams, Security Operations Centre teams, and our esteemed Red Team.

Key Accountabilities:

  1. Execution of technical tasks within our engagements.
  2. Responding to emergency incidents, including mitigation and remediation activities.
  3. Maintaining composure and effectiveness in client Incident Management scenarios.
  4. Providing clients with high-quality technical investigations.
  5. Collaborating in the identification, resolution, and documentation of security incidents.
  6. Discussing wider technology and security posture with clients to perform Cyber Threat assessments.

Desirable Requirements:

  1. 5+ years of experience in incident response, security operations, or strategic security consulting.
  2. Experience evaluating client security controls, architecture, and operations.
  3. Experience crafting scripts and tools to enhance incident investigations.
  4. Experience leading client incident response engagements.
  5. Experience triaging Windows and Linux hosts.
  6. Experience with Network Traffic Analysis.
  7. Experience with Log Data Analysis
  8. Ability to produce high-quality written and verbal reports, presentations, recommendations, and findings to clients.
  9. Ability to evaluate and enhance processes and procedures.
  10. Focus on Clients and Customers.
  11. Working as One NCC.
