A leading eDiscovery technology and consulting firm headquartered in Washington, DC is looking for a qualified and experienced Senior Digital Forensic Analyst. We are seeking a motivated individual with a strong interest in the legal and technology fields, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for delivering top-notch service to our clients. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced and dynamic industry. The ideal candidate is proactive with excellent communication skills, a problem solver, and consistently reliable. This position involves both domestic and international travel for on-site collection efforts. Additionally, this position offers a hybrid work arrangement, combining remote work with in-office presence at our primary office in Washington, DC, where our forensics lab and data center are located.

DUTIES OF THE POSITION:
  1. Perform complex forensic data collections and analysis on-site and remotely.
  2. Coordinate with legal teams and client IT departments to define project scope and forensic workflows.
  3. Maintain and update forensic tools and technologies.
  4. Work with project management on complex projects under deadlines.
  5. Develop and update procedures to meet discovery requirements.
  6. Provide project estimates and identify upselling opportunities.
  7. Support leadership through process improvements and industry trend awareness.
  8. Adhere to and update SOPs regularly.
  9. Perform quality control checks on work products.
  10. Complete additional duties as assigned.
  11. Guide and train junior team members.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Digital Forensic Science, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 6+ years of relevant forensic experience.
  • Proficiency with forensic tools like Axiom, EnCase, Cellebrite, FTK Imager, Digital Collector.
  • Understanding of filesystems, mobile devices, encryption.
  • Experience with preserving and analyzing various devices and data sources.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel internationally with a valid passport.
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Ability to document forensic workflows properly.
  • Willingness to train others and develop resources.
  • Knowledge of EDRM model.
  • Ability to meet performance metrics through regular time tracking.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
  • Industry certifications (EnCE, CCE, etc.).
  • Knowledge of litigation support applications (Relativity, Nuix, etc.).
  • Experience with data analysis, scripting, and database languages.
COMPENSATION:

Starting at $120,000, with potential for higher based on experience. Includes bonuses and profit-sharing.
