Job summary

Arcfield is seeking a Digital Engineering Tools Administrator to lead the deployment and configuration of infrastructure and software for DoD and commercial clients. The role emphasizes creating efficient, automated workflows, and guiding customer admins in MBSE and DE practices.

The candidate will work with cross-functional teams, act as a subject matter expert on MBSE and DE, and support Digital Thread and Digital Twin goals, often with little oversight in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance - TS/SCI eligible
BS Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
Expertise with major versions of Linux and Windows Server
Experience configuring COTS software to fit customers’ requirements and processes
Knowledge of IT concepts and best practices, including cybersecurity
Fluent in MBSE, DE, Digital Threads, and Digital Transformation
Familiarity with Java and enterprise databases (Cassandra, DB2)
Knowledge of Agile terminology and practices
Familiarity with DOD/IC regulations, directives, policies and compliance for ATO
Experience developing and troubleshooting work-flows
Experience identifying, researching, and testing alternative solutions

Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive Digital Engineering strategies to support DoD and/or Commercial customer initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance digital engineering initiatives.
Serve as a subject matter expert in MBSE, guiding internal and customer teams on best practices and emerging technologies.
Deploy common MBSE and DE COTS software, such as modeling tools (Cameo, Magic, SAM), middleware (ex.Syndeia, eCube, SBE Vision).
Configure assets in Azure Cloud and/or Amazon Web Services.
Speak effectively in front of groups to coordinate and provide technical direction to customer admins.
Communicate with senior customers, keep stakeholders informed, prioritize tasks, and vet priorities.
Interpret and adjudicate user needs; translate user needs expressed as business requirements into technical requirements; implement user needs in the tools or customization.
