Job summary

Qualifications

  • BS Degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance - TS/SCI eligible.
  • Expertise with major versions of Linux and Windows Server.
  • Experience configuring COTS software to fit customers’ requirements and processes.
  • Knowledge of IT concepts and best practices, including cybersecurity.
  • MBSE, DE, Digital Threads, and Digital Transformation concepts.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive Digital Engineering strategies for DoD and/or Commercial initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment in digital engineering initiatives.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in MBSE, guiding internal and customer teams.
  • Deploy MBSE and DE COTS software (Cameo, Magic, SAM) and middleware (Syndeia, eCube, SBE Vision).
  • Configure assets in Azure Cloud and/or Amazon Web Services.
  • Speak effectively to coordinate and provide technical direction to customer admins.
  • Communicate with senior customers, keep stakeholders informed, prioritize tasks, and vet priorities.
  • Translate user needs into technical requirements and tool customizations.

Responsibilities

Strategic Technology Consulting (STC), an Arcfield Company, is seeking a talented professional to join our team and fill the role of Digital Engineering Tools Administrator.

STC is seeking an experienced Digital Engineer with a passion for deploying and configuring infrastructure and software solutions to fit customers’ requirements, while focusing on process improvements, efficiency, and automation. Interested candidates should thrive in an innovative, fast-paced environment, supporting a variety of commercial and government candidates. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, leadership abilities, be organized, have an ability to prioritize their time, and understand the value of providing strong customer service.

This position will serve as a subject matter expert on STC’s Digital Engineering Infrastructure team. The DE Infrastructure team is a set of tools admins who work on tactical, high-visibility contracts; often providing a level of expertise where they are guiding customer admins on how to configure their systems. The chosen candidate will work directly with customers, with little oversight, and will demonstrate a high level of interaction, initiative, and influence for Digital Transformation efforts. They will bring their skills to bear to help customers achieve their Digital Thread and Digital Twin goals.

Roles And Responsibilities

The candidate should be capable of working both independently and collaboratively with a cross functional team. He or she must be a change agent and have personal initiative. Possessing the drive to seek answers to complex problems, as well as to implement optimal solutions:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive Digital Engineering strategies to support DoD and/or Commercial customer initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including systems engineers, software developers, and project managers, to ensure alignment and progress in digital engineering initiatives.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in MBSE, guiding both internal and customer teams on best practices and emerging technologies.
  • Deploy common MBSE and DE COTS software, such as modeling tools (Cameo, Magic, SAM), middleware (ex.Syndeia, eCube, SBE Vision).
  • Configure assets in Azure Cloud and/or Amazon Web Services.
  • Can speak effectively in front of a group to either coordinate and/or provide technical direction to customer admins.
  • Can demonstrate the ability to communicate with senior customers, keep all stakeholders informed, prioritize tasks, and vet priorities.
  • Has the ability to interpret and adjudicate user needs; translate user needs expressed as business requirements into technical requirements; implement user needs the tools or customization of the tools.

The candidate should also demonstrate or have an interest in gaining expertise in:

  • Technical Management skills
  • Embrace mentoring and development of personnel, with a commitment to continuous learning
  • Strong Communication skills
  • Experience with core Systems Engineering Disciplines (Requirements, Schedule, Risk, Readiness, System Closure, etc)

  • BS 8-10, MS 6-8, PhD 3-5
  • BS Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field (IT/Engineering/etc)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance - TS/SCI eligible

  • Experience configuring COTS software to fit customers’ requirements and processes
  • Knowledge of IT concepts and best practices, including cybersecurity
  • Fluent in the concepts of MBSE, DE, Digital Threads, and Digital Transformation
Preferred Experience
  • Familiarity with Java and enterprise databases (Cassandra, DB2, etc)
  • Knowledge of Agile terminology, theories and best practices
  • Familiarity with DOD and Intelligence Community (IC) regulations, directives, policies and compliance for ATO
  • Experience developing and troubleshooting work-flows
  • Experience identifying, researching, and testing alternative solutions
Equal Pay Act

This is the projected compensation range for this position. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, Arcfield invests in its employees beyond just compensation. Min: $101,782.95 Max: $200,267.74
