Job summary

Responsibilities
  • Work across multiple disciplines supporting manufacturing activities related to communications and helmet‑mounted display markets.
  • Analyze product failure data, malfunction testing trends, troubleshoot yield issues, and recommend product improvements, including test improvements.
  • Perform root‑cause analysis on field failures and support continuous product improvements.
  • Effectively troubleshoot problems and implement effective solutions.
  • Participate in continuous improvement and team‑building activities; maintain productive relationships with all team members.
  • Complete assigned tasks with a high level of quality and minimal supervision.
  • Support and communicate status, issues, needs, and ideas to management.
  • Support qualification of obsolete, not‑recommended‑for‑new‑design, and last‑time‑buy components.
  • Act as liaison between manufacturing diagnostic technicians and engineers on existing products and during transfer of new products into manufacturing.
  • Maintain lab, equipment, and work areas.
Qualifications
  • U.S. Citizenship required; applicants may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility for access to classified information.
  • BSEE/MSEE or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering.
  • 4+ years of experience in a manufacturing/production environment providing engineering support.
  • Practical and theoretical knowledge of electronics, ability to read schematics, interpret assembly drawings, and work instructions.
  • Working knowledge of test equipment: oscilloscopes, power supplies, meters, etc.
  • Experience utilizing Lab View and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 10% of time.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and dependable work ethic.
  • Ability to comply with all company guidelines, policies, procedures, and embrace company core values.

The hourly pay range for this role is $117,503.00 – $150,143.00 USD, along with a target incentive compensation plan of 5%. The pay range provided is a good faith estimate that reflects the experience level for the role described above.
