Job description

Pearson is hiring a Senior Digital Content Developer, Math.

The Pearson+ Content Team aims to build the world’s most helpful video courses to support students’ success. We are seeking a candidate to lead the development and serve as the main instructor for comprehensive video courses in Mathematics.

Location: Remote

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and engagingly.
  • High standards for work quality and attention to detail.
  • Effective feedback exchange skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Dependability in managing workload and efficiency.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to set up a quiet recording environment at home (equipment provided).

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Recent experience teaching or tutoring college or high school students.
  • Experience in curriculum development, assessments, or educational publishing.
  • Experience creating educational videos.
  • Advanced degree in a quantitative field or equivalent.
  • Experience in collaborative team environments.
  • Familiarity with video recording equipment/software or willingness to learn.
  • Engagement with students on social media (preferred).

Responsibilities:

  • Co-lead development of Math video courses from Pre-Algebra to Calculus.
  • Plan curricula and lessons.
  • Write lesson worksheets and record lessons.
  • Set and monitor team goals.
  • Provide and receive peer feedback.
  • Participate in hiring, training, and process improvements.
  • Attend regular meetings between 9am-5pm EST.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

Salary Range: $80,000 to $110,000 annually, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. Work remotely with a team passionate about creating helpful educational content. Compensation varies based on skills, experience, and location.
