The Pearson+ Content Team is on a mission to build the world’s most helpful video courses to help students succeed. We are looking for someone to join our Math & Stats Team to lead the development of comprehensive video courses for Mathematics, including being the main instructor.

Required Experience and Skills:

1. Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and engagingly.
2. High standards for work quality and attention to detail.
3. Effective feedback exchange to improve team outputs.
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Dependability in managing workload and meeting deadlines.
6. Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience.
7. Ability to use a quiet home recording space (equipment provided).

Preferred Experience and Skills:

1. Experience teaching or tutoring students in the last 3 years.
2. Experience in curriculum development, assessments, or educational publishing.
3. Experience creating educational video content.
4. Advanced degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience.
5. Experience in collaborative team environments.
6. Knowledge of video recording equipment/software or willingness to learn.
7. Willingness to engage with students on social media.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Co-lead development of Math video courses from Pre-Algebra to Calculus.
2. Plan curricula and lessons.
3. Write lesson worksheets and record lessons.
4. Set and pursue team goals.
5. Provide and receive feedback to improve work.
6. Contribute to hiring, training, and process improvements.
7. Attend regular meetings between 9am-5pm EST.
8. Perform other duties as needed.

Compensation & Benefits:

1. Salary: $80,000 - $110,000/year.

Salary is influenced by skills, experience, and location. The range is estimated at $80,000 to $100,000 annually, with potential participation in an incentive program.
