Job summary

UMass Memorial Health - Harrington Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Sr Diet Aide to support the Dietary department by preparing and distributing food to patients, staff and external guests. The role includes cooking duties and ensuring high sanitation standards in accordance with policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent.
• Must be able to read, write and comprehend English including being able to follow both written and verbal instructions.
• ServSafe certification obtained within 1 year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Follow HACCP standards.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Assist in containment of department food costs.
• Prepare and distribute food to patients, employees, and the outside community.
• Cook responsibilities for cafeteria and patient meals.
• Maintain sanitation and safety standards.
