Job summary

Zūm Services, Inc. in Maryland seeks a seasoned maintenance technician to anchor our fleet operations. You will diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on diesel and heavy/medium-duty vehicles, conduct road tests, and ensure all work meets DOT standards.

The role requires hands-on auto/truck/bus experience, proficiency with diagnostic tools and fleet management systems, and a commitment to safety and precise documentation. CDL is preferred with occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of fleet maintenance experience.
• Hands-on auto/truck or bus repairs.
• Familiar with DOT compliance for heavy trucks.
• Proficient with fleet management systems and diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics and corrective repairs across multiple systems.
• Complete preventive maintenance and PM inspections.
• Road-test and verify repairs after service.
• Document time, parts, and labor accurately.
• Respond to on-road repairs as needed.
