Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Vocational or Technical certification preferred.
• Basic tools required.
• Experience with heavy-duty diesel engines and preventive maintenance.
• CDL Class A preferred.
• Must obtain CDL within 6 months.
• Pass a drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Performs vehicle maintenance and repair duties including: standard maintenance.
• Performs preventive maintenance and diagnostics.
• Diagnose complex mechanical/electrical problems using diagnostic tools.
• Complete detailed inspections and repairs with minimal supervision.
• Interact with customers/drivers to determine nature of complaint.
• Utilize Shop Management System and documentation.
• Adhere to safety, DOT, MOT compliance guidelines.
