The position emphasizes accurate repair execution, safety, and strong documentation while supporting apprentices and maintaining tools. CDL preferred, OEM certifications beneficial, and growth within a respected service team.

Qualifications

• Diesel school degree or 3+ years related experience.
• OEM certifications preferred.
• Must have a valid Driver License; CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs repair work per OEM guidelines and repair orders with efficiency and accuracy.
• Diagnoses causes of malfunctions and conducts repairs per manufacturer standards.
• Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Saves and tags parts, especially when under warranty or at customer request.
• Assesses vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required.
• Notifies service advisor if additional work is needed or when repairs cannot be completed timely.
• Documents all work performed on the repair order.
• Supervises apprentices as assigned.
• Reports machinery defects to supervisor.
• Maintains dealership-owned tools and manuals and uses tools safely.
• Attends all company training and maintains 85%+ efficiency.
