Jobot is seeking a Diesel Mechanic in Talbott, TN for an on-site, permanent role with competitive hourly pay.

Responsibilities include preventative and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime, identifying root causes of failures, interpreting schematics and manuals, and leading major component repowers including engines and transmissions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of heavy equipment and diesel engine maintenance experience.
• Ability to interpret schematics, service manuals, diagnostic software, and onboard monitoring systems.
• Experience leading major component repowers including engines, transmissions, axles, pumps, and cylinders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventative and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend component life.
• Identify root causes of recurring equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
• Interpret schematics, service manuals, diagnostic software, and onboard monitoring systems.
• Lead major component repowers including engines, transmissions, axles, pumps, and cylinders.
