Job summary

Kimble Company in Ohio is seeking an Experienced Diesel Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair diesel- and CNG-powered heavy-duty trucks. You will serve as a technical expert and lead by example in safety and performance.

Responsibilities include DOT inspections, diagnostics with OEM software, and mentoring junior technicians while maintaining accurate records and coordinating with fleet managers to schedule repairs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on heavy-duty truck maintenance and repair experience.
• Experience on Diesel and CNG engines is required.
• CDL (Class A or B) preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills are essential.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, manuals, and OEM software.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, brake, and suspension systems on diesel and CNG trucks.
• Perform DOT inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Use diagnostic tools and OEM software for troubleshooting.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Mentor and train junior technicians; maintain records per policy.
