Job summary

GreatWater Garage in Williamston, MI is seeking an experienced Master / Diagnostic Automotive Technician to diagnose and repair complex electrical and drivetrain issues. You will be a technical leader, performing DVIs and delivering high-quality repairs with honesty and integrity.

You will mentor peers, maintain a clean, professional shop, and contribute to a team-focused environment. This role emphasizes skill, accuracy, and customer trust in a growing network.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as an A-Level Diagnostic Technician.
• State and local certifications to legally perform the work, including a valid driver's license and a satisfactory MVR.
• Has or is willing to earn ASE certifications and work towards Master ASE Technician.
• All 8 ASE certifications preferred (A1-A8).
• Willingness to mentor other technicians and lead by example.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair advanced electrical and engine performance issues.
• Diagnose fuel, ignition, and drivability systems.
• Diagnose and repair 4WD / AWD drivetrain systems.
• Perform advanced steering, suspension, and brake system repairs.
• Perform advanced HVAC diagnostics and repair.
• Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI) and provide accurate recommendations.
• Mentor and support less experienced technicians.
