Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, facilitate patient setup, and operate imaging equipment in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The role requires ARDMS or ARRT-S and BLS certification, a minimum of 3 years of ultrasound experience, and proficiency in imaging including high-risk pediatric exams. Opportunities for mentorship are included in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Certification through ARDMS or ARRT-S and BLS certification are mandatory.
• Minimum of 3 years ultrasound experience and proficiency in all aspects of ultrasound imaging, including high-risk pediatric exams, are essential.
• High School Diploma or GED required; Diagnostic Medical Sonography degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify orders, obtain clinical histories, administer contrast medias safely, ensure proper patient identification, review ultrasound images, respond to emergencies, assist colleagues, and maintain patient dignity and comfort.
• Explain procedures clearly using AIDET, address patient concerns, and document findings accurately.
• Maintain equipment functionality, perform quality control, and adhere to infection control policies.
• Transport patients, restock supplies, support departmental operations, and ensure a clean, organized workspace.
• Operate ultrasound workstations, manage PACS uploads, and support regulatory compliance.
• Provide mentorship and constructive feedback to team members, and support department leadership.
