Job summary
Miami VA Healthcare System's Diagnostic Imaging Service seeks an experienced Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist to perform routine to moderately complex radiographic exams using fluoroscopic, digital, portable, and C-Arm equipment in the Operating Room.
The ideal candidate will hold a 24-month radiologic technology program certificate or associate degree, be ARRT (R) certified, and meet VA GS-8 experience requirements, with proficiency in English and US citizenship.
Qualifications
- Completion of a full-time radiologic technology program of at least 24 months with certificate or associate degree.
- ARRT certification (R) is required.
- US citizenship and English proficiency required.
- Minimum 1 year of qualifying experience at GS-7 level (or 3 years DRT experience).
Responsibilities
- Perform routine to moderately complex radiographic examinations using fluoroscopic, digital, portable, and C-Arm equipment.
- Maintain radiology workflow and ensure image quality and patient safety.
- Review patient records and coordinate with radiologists.
- Adhere to VA qualification standards and pre-employment requirements.
