Job summary

Hospital Authority invites applications for an Advanced Practice Diagnostic Radiographer for Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Kowloon Hospital. This contract full-time post sits in the Department of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology, Kowloon Central Cluster, and supports imaging services across hospitals.

Applicants must hold a Radiography degree, be registered as a Diagnostic Radiographer, have 3 years’ experience, and demonstrate competence in relevant imaging modalities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Radiography from a local university or equivalent.
• Be a registered Part I (full registration) Radiographer (Diagnostic) and have a valid Practicing Certificate.
• 3 years’ experience as a Radiographer; and
• Acquired adequate / relevant experience in respective imaging modalities.

Responsibilities

• Take charge of the technological aspects of a diagnostic imaging room and perform relevant administrative duties.
• Perform diagnostic imaging examinations and ensure the delivery of high quality diagnostic radiology service and smooth running of daily operation.
• Supervise junior radiographers and supporting staff and train students from academic institutions.
• Support imaging services of cluster hospitals of Queen Elizabeth Hospital/Kowloon Hospital/Hong Kong Buddhist Hospital if necessary.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor(s).
