Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior DevTech Compute Engineer for Compression and Data Processing to prototype and integrate GPU-accelerated approaches for high-throughput, low-latency data processing. You will collaborate with research, hardware, and software teams to optimize complex workloads across CPU/GPU architectures.

The role emphasizes co-design of systems, software, and hardware blocks, with engagement with customers and CSPs to deliver near real-time data analytics and compression solutions.

Qualifications

• Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Applied Math and/or related field (or equivalent).
• 5+ years of relevant work or research experience in state-of-the-art systems or complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Prototype and integrate novel approaches to GPU-accelerated distributed data processing domains: dataframe analytics, high-throughput low-latency compression methods, transactional and vector databases.
• Collaborate with industry and academia to optimize data-intensive workloads across heterogeneous CPU/GPU architectures.
• Influence hardware, software and programming models in collaboration with multiple NVIDIA teams.
• Work with customers to integrate solutions at speed and contribute to open standards in data analytics and compression.
