Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to lead infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD for the AIM project. You will design Terraform modules, manage HCP Terraform workspaces, and enforce least-privilege access across AWS resources.

You’ll build secure pipelines and integrate AI-assisted tooling with governance and manual approvals. Must have 12+ years of hands-on Terraform and cloud security experience, plus strong skills in GitHub Actions or GitLab CI/CD and secret management with Vault or AWS

Qualifications

• 12+ years in DevSecOps or infrastructure engineering with Terraform and CI/CD.
• Hands-on with HCP Terraform (Terraform Cloud) and VCS-driven workflows.
• Experience with AWS IAM, secret management and secure access patterns.
• Experience building secure CI/CD pipelines and governance controls.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain reusable Terraform modules with clear interfaces.
• Manage HCP Terraform workspaces and VCS-driven workflows with policy enforcement.
• Provision AWS resources following least-privilege access and security best practices.
• Manage secrets using Vault or AWS Secrets Manager.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) with gating and tests.
• Conduct security reviews of infrastructure code and pipelines.
